Phenomenal piece, Noemie. As a news junkie, it’s been hard to turn away. I try no y to look at news after a certain time. I think I may change that to just looking one or two mornings a week. If I miss something, I’m sure I’ll hear about it another way.
Thanks so much Lynn! And honestly, 1 or 2 mornings a week is probably more than enough, you'll still know what's going on. Plus I love late night TV so I find it to be a great way to find the humour in the headlines X
Another great piece. I love all the studies you cite, where do you find all these things... Just following up on them now. So interesting!
I'm feeling very disconnected from the news now, but rather than that being an active choice, it just kind of fell away when I looked at my phone less. Remarkably liberating (even if it does make me seem a little stupid every now and then!)
Will!! Thank you so much! I have access to a couple of academic journal databases through my Singapore library card, so I basically go down rabbit holes for fun at this point. It's a problem 😂🙃 I used to spend so much time reading the news in my 20s and 30s, exactly because I didn't want to look stupid. But again everything is so absurd these days than looking stupid is honestly the least of my worries:)
This article is really straight to the point, and I love the bird’s-eye view of your writing. Sometimes I don’t know whether I should laugh or just let it be and not get pissed off, but I chose the first option.
The toilet AI camera might be the most useful sentence written about 2026. Amazing read, loved it.🌟🙌
Thank you! It's all just so absurd 🙃

I definitely love watching those shows when I workout in the morning. Perfect spin on things.
Great advice. Very helpful
Hi! So glad it was helpful X

Thank you so much for reading! And YES to laughing off the absurdity of it all :)
